I have yet to manifest and over come many of the behind-the-scenes hurtles in reaching my goal. The desire to finally step out and 'do it' was the biggest. Making 'things' isn't the hard part but getting them into the hands of a larger public has challenges I know I can meet. The goal I have set for myself is to participate in the Denton Arts and Jazz Festival come 2021. Set far enough to be obtainable with lost of hard work getting there. I need to make the items I want to sale, do Overtime at work and set money aside for fees and registrations, get a DBA making my assumed Company Name legal, acquiring a Sales Tax ID number for starts; then proceed to the festival requirements. A lot of work but the payoff rewards and satisfaction will be worth it. With my Retirement four years away at best, it'd be good to start planning for the post employment years doing my passion. I think my dad would be proud of me.
