THE SWAN

   In my novel: THE WATCHER'S REQUIEM, the elves left Middle-Earth at the end of Lord of the Rings; however, (in my tale) some of the elves stayed behind.  Writing that continued history, their descendants then built upon it a tradition which developed into a tyrannically cultic religious society.  The main character of my story leaves this controlling belief system and therein lies the conflict.
