“She wanted to birth you sons.  She had twins, girls instead, and one of them died in childbirth.  Because of the loss, and it not being a son you refused to lie with her again.  In that deep sorrow and the shame you heaped upon her, darkness sank her heart but never her love for you.  It came to pass in the depths of that sadness she neglected her babe and slept atop her by misfortune.  In this second loss Reyon could not recover and walked out into the waters of the Bay before us without swimming.
