ReplyDeleteI need your email addy and phone number. The Athlon blacked out day before last and I haven't been able to resuscitate her. I recovered much of what I needed from her HDDs by enslaving them to Dave's Dell and burning the data onto CD-Rs, but I haven't been able to recover info stored in email messages, such as your phone number. I'll be using the Pentium as my main computer now, but hopefully the Athlon will recover from her stupor in a coupla days and I'll be able to use her as a backup. The last time she blacked out, she spontaneously recovered three days later, so I'm hoping the same will happen this time. Maybe I've got a bad power supply. I know it's not the 3 volt battery on the mobo because I already swapped that out. It's definitely not the video card or HDDs. I ran a virus check on the drives while they were enslaved to Dave's PC and eliminated 4 viruses, but reinstalling the HDDs back into the Athlon didn't rectify the problem. Perhaps it's the mobo itself or something else. Anyhow, that's what's been going on lately. My email addy is the same. Hope you're well. Is your APT still a labrynth of boxes and whatnots?
