  1. You've obviously put a great deal of work into the Nephilim Age and I commend both your efforts and your bravery for putting it out on the web.

The story lost me at the journal -- the pace dropped off far too fast, and it's too jargony and obscure for me. Additionally, there are some tidbits that stop the flow of the story: Parchment scrolls bound with leather straps in a safety-deposit box for 20+ years will more than likely be wrecked by the acids in the leather. Scrolls are only written on one side. Once the holder of a safety deposit box dies, the box is sealed and no one except the executor is allowed access -- this can take several months to determine, and banks will always err on the side of caution.

There are also numerous spelling errors throughout the story that disrupt the tale.

I'm not nitpicking to be hurtful -- this is the type of response editors have given me on projects throughout the years, and I've found it to be helpful.

Best of luck with your project.

  2. Thank you. Just some of the things I've needed pointed out; hope you were able to read the "story" with such an eye for detail, as well.
